Re: OK hawaii brahs... ASSUMING...

What's the difference between hawaii and the rest of the states? I have the original title for it and it says 49cc on it. What else do you have to do for hawaii? When DMV pulls the JOG VIN, it will say scooter/motorcycle in the system. My friend said that some JOGs registered in the early 1990s wer...

Re: OK hawaii brahs... ASSUMING...

Problem u will find is that no one in Honolulu wants a scooter that requires registration and insurance. There are only a handful of legal moped titled JOGs on island. Now if somehow u got it titled in Honolulu as a moped, then u got a rare item.

Re: 1986 SPREE **HELP** [Fuel-Saving Through Non-Starting - Ed.]

Honolulu, Hawaii has the highest gas prices and highest rent :nervous: $3.28/gal of 87 octane and I pay $2100 for a 1 bedroom condo 700 sq ft. (Not a luxury condo!!!) Those luxury 2 bedroom condos go for $5000/month rent. Single family houses average $600k for a older fixxer upper  It's expen...

Re: Is your Honda ELITE S/SR completely stock???

My friend said he is going to keep his moped completely stock. Reliable and troublefree. He says when he sells it, a virgin untouched moped will be WAY more valuable than a highly modded one. I think if it is cherry and like new condition, he can get his money back or even make a profit. If you dum...

Re: yamaha jog cg50

Parts between the Razz and JOG are not swappable. Only the headset are the same. You will have to buy a whole new lock and keyset for the JOG.

Re: Any HONDA Z50 aka "MONKEY" Riders???

OMG!!! Just saw a guy riding a real MONKEY. It was the rarer hard tail too :woot: Early this morning, me and some coworkers were eating at BOB'S BBQ on Dillingham Blvd in Honolulu, and some guy rides past us. My coworkers were like, "Hey check that out! That thing looks nutts!" I start yel...

Re: Any HONDA Z50 aka "MONKEY" Riders???

Those are both MONKEYs. They are the uber rare hard tails. Only made in the early years. The collectors and hardcore guys that restore prefer the hard tails because they are more valuable.

Too bad not titled, otherwise they would have been gone in an instant.

Re: Any HONDA Z50 aka "MONKEY" Riders???

Looks like there are no MONKEY riders that are into Honda scooters :b2t:

I would get one, but those things are very rare, expensive, and a money pit!!!

You need to be in a whole different echelon of customizing and restoration.

I bet there's only one member on this forum that has one :coolcruise:
