By any chance,do you still have the broken off piece?That would go a long way to making the template.If not bolt the pipe up in position,carefully brace it up as not to break off the mounting studs.Then you can get a good questamation of the needed dimensions.Then cut a template out of cardboard/pap...

Hello,and welcome to the forum.I've used 4-5 hose clamps.Holds it really good.You won't lose a load.Save the bungees for holding the load down.Good luck.Carp
