Don't feel bad, i rode yesterday and when I got stopped near the end of my ride, I realized my turn signal broke off. Dunno how. The bracket held on was aluminum so I imagine it got shaken to death. Sucks

I like the look of the taiwan bike. It's def interesting. I saw those for sale at an Aprilia dealer because they were only 1800-2000 bucks out the door. Run well?

Ic, well as with everything, you gotta commit to make it work. I'm by no means a member but I like to ride when my ped is running and am somewhat discouraged when I hear about people quitting clubs when times get tough. That's no way to go.

Why should it be dead? There are still a ton of people around the D that wanna ride. It just seems to be impossible to get people together unless people commit to a ride at least once a month or something. Why not just schedule more rides? I'm kinda disappointed since now my ped runs great.

won't start after rebuild

I think I have a bit of a problem on my spree. I had poor compression so I replaced the rings with a new set from honda and put it all back together. When I tried to start the spree, an 85 model, it cranked several times and then fired up for a moment. I started to adjust the carb to dial it in a bi...

Piston Ring Size

I have a noob type question. As I am rebuilding my first motor I would like to know if I have a honed out cylinder... do I need bigger rings, or bigger rings and a bigger piston. Also, are there really 3 rings instead of just two? I saw an illustration with what looked like a third ring below the bo...

I'm gonna call around and see if I can't find one. Hopefully I can get it all put back together without any problems. It took quite a while to disassemble the motor. I still need a gear puller for the part that charges the battery.. the dyno? Not sure what it's called. It's stuck steadfast to the cr...

How will i know if just the rings are bad? I just pulled the head and the piston and cylinder looks fantastic.

Help! Low compression!

I only have 65psi compression on my 85 spree! When I bought it a few days ago it was said to be freshly rebuilt. I ran premix through it to ensure proper lubrication but I suppose it had some straight gas still in the carb and had been run a bit before I bought it. Oil pump seems to be primed now bu...
