Just been out to the shed and have established that I have compression. I have also adjusted the air fuel screw to the recommended level ( 1 7/8 turns out from full in), loosened off the idle fully, and yet I am still flooding rhe chamber each time. I know- I was trying to be cheeky about your speed and then realised the units ie mph were not what I thought they were. I'll just stick to the scooter fixing in future and leave the funnies to the comedians. PS It is cool watching missile cam when they park one through a window only slightly bigger...

I my have been led down the garden path by the parts dealer- I went to get a NGK BPR6HS as per the downloaded service manual, but all he had in stock was a BPR4HS. The current plug in the head is a BP5HS

I did buy a hotter spark plug in order to get a cleaner burn, but the spark lead wont fit the new plug:(

Well done that man. The two tone look will require cleaning to keep the best of apperances but I reckon its worth it. Chuck a good polish on it and the gunge will wipe off anyhoo
