6g would be a bit light, 10g is stock, 9g is great for a near stock setup, clutch springs would be the next thing to check.

funny thing, i went to the local dealer, and looked through their stash, turns out the JDM dio uses the same brake pads as a honda trx quad, AND the yamaha blaster/warrior! exact same pad, i dont know about the compound, but it cant be too far off, i hope...
