I had this same problem with a clogged up carb. The day I got my se50p home, we put in some gas and started it up and then we shut it off real quck (no muffler) and watched our liquid gold start pouring out the back! A quick tear down and we found someone tried to clean the carb but didn't blow air ...

So after all these years, I still have this thing and most of that blue paint held up real good, only on the floor board where my feet prolly had rocks is back to black ;) I'm thinking to paint it white. I ended up taking off the radio, doesn't like rain, doesn't like hard braking, doesn't like drun...

It's been a while but I realized I didn't mention what I was using. I have a NQ50 and a SE50P. The SE50P should be (new) 15.5mm - (time to replace) 14.5mm.

I've since done my homework and bough a digital caliper to stop guessing if I should make purchases.. No more RR.

I used fine sandpaper to give a texture for the paint to stick. It seems to work great but I had black dust in my lungs for a few weeks after that.

It's been a while since I did this, after some heavy driving and lot's of beating, the paint is holding up fairly good. A few areas I am having problems with are the floorboard and near the top of the speakers. On the floorboard only a few spots are wearing through, most likely due to rocks in my bo...

You might be able to get more than it's worth if you part the bike and sell it on e-bay. It's more work doing this but I always see a lot of spree stuff for sale and it always sells.

Check for air leaks in the air filter box and lid and near the carb. If the bike was hit hard enough, it could have jarred something loose. An air leak will easily cause 5mph+ to disappear.

Might be front forks overtightened. It makes a big big difference if your front wheel can spin freely or if its hard to spin.

I have a parts manual and it shows:
Tire 2.50-10
Tube 2.50-2.75-20
Tube, Tire 3.00-10

I tried to order the 3.00-10 set and it was superceded by the 2.50-10 part. I'm thinking it's possible.

I bought a parts manual from CDMOTO.com which shows a "Gasket Set" for $8.61. (Part# 16010-gk8-003) This includes 5 gaskets used on the carb. (including the O rings).

This manual is very handy, I can get part numbers and ordering info for every part on the Spree.

Honda Spree doesn't have a tunable transmission.

Looking for performance, I found: Q. Do you sell performance parts for the Honda Spree? A. Sorry, but we do not sell performance parts for the Honda Spree, this is due to the fact that the Honda Spree doesn't have a tunable transmission. http://www.vtcycles.com/faq.htm Can it be replaced or somethin...

You can buy every part of the spree from CDMOTO.com. I bought a parts manual CD from them on Ebay and it lists the stickers and anything else.
The stickers vary depending on the year, the large sticker was $10.
