83 aero stuck wide open
Hello, Just had this same problem on my 84 aero nb50m! The throttle cable was not allowing the needle and piston to seat all the way down. I had to shorten the housing by about a 1/4 inch and carefully remove the metal casings around the cable itself. Let it idle and set your air and idle screws. Th...

OK so it turns out that the throttle cable was NOT letting the piston and
needle drop all the way down, therefore causing the engine to rev.
She runs and idles now and am happy to announce that I can ride
her finally. She does scoot right along too!
Thanks for all your help..

1984 Honda NB50m new carb..........
Replaced the air filter with an original from Honda. Found the needle
to be bent! Seller sent me a replacement needle and valve. The original
carb had 4 tubes this one has 5. Was told that has an extra breather tube
Should I block the extra tube?

fuel in exhaust part 2
Just removed my muffler and it is full of fuel.......trying to drain it all
out at this moment. Seems to have a hard time draining. Would be
ok to put oven cleaner in it? Or just be patient and let gravity do its
thing?
