Been a while but I do have a update. The gyro will in the next 2 months be a 68cc scooter with almost 6 1/2HP to work with. A stock Gyro S has 4hp, and hard to tune. After talking with some people and friends in Japan, I found a Gyro X engine fits and works better. Gyro X has 5HP off the bat. It is ...

No offense, but your sayings don't hold truth. From what you say, you are leaning out the engine and it will most likely go boom. Your other threads contradict all you say, first it goes 30, now it doesn't go at all. A inlet wouldn't make this change, only thing that would... well that would be the ...

Not sure about mine then. I did go to pre-mix at 20:1 with Honda Synthetic 2 stroke. It sure does make the top end more peppy. I took a day off work and thinking and had some fun; Me and the girl took the gyro's into the snow and ripped it up, some fun ice sliding and circle tracking... never forget...

I got a call finally from my friend in Japan that made his roadfox go 45mp/h (72km/h). He told me that after having a small amount of machine work done on the cases, you can use many of the spree and dio kits. As for the exhaust port, he said to cut and weld for best fit. Larger carb and correct fue...

Mouse... you just gave me a great idea on what to do. Do you have a pic of the engine with no pivot? I have a plan but need a design to go off of. The aero cylinder looks close. I wonder id I can machine the bottom end just enough to let it in? Would the head bolts be close or no? The exhaust can al...

Twilight, I'll get photos for the Gyro cyl tomorrow - was busy tonight... Here's reply to your earlier comments. There's a freewheeling clutch inside the trans, not all of it has to rotate when coasting, it's loafing ;^). Rear tires at recommened 11psi are poor rolling resistance. And though low, t...

I feel Kenny's pain. I couldnt figure out what you were saying :? The only thing you should mix 2 stroke oil with is GAS, not other oils. If you did this, then you probably created more problems down the road. The engine is a 2 stroke, there is no *set it very lean*, if you are then this engine is g...
