Legal question: SA50P documentation showing 30MPH max speed?
Hello old friends, I was pulled over and ticketed for not having a motorcycle license and not having an inspection sticker in the state of NY. According to this chart , my SA50P is a Class B moped and therefore I don't need either of those things. However, I can't find any documentation from Honda i...

Re: Derestricting Drive Pulley and I'm stuck! QUICK HELP??
Installed everything (sans gold backplate and three screws) and I hit 40 easily. Will report back once I get a long straightaway, but it felt like I easily 42 or 43.
This is a derestricted SA50P with just the Keli Pulley as an upgrade.

Re: Derestricting Drive Pulley and I'm stuck! QUICK HELP??
of course after posting I decide to search "three screws variator" and find a TON of topics saying don't install the new plate.
NOW my question is to WHY daywot's keli pulley included the very plate that would restrict the pulley?

Derestricting Drive Pulley and I'm stuck! QUICK HELP??
Hey friends, Sorry for the stupid question, but I've searched and couldn't find an answer. I've got my scooter apart and I'm trying to install the Keli pulley from daywot but I'm confused about one part... The stock SA50P variator had a ramp plate and then the "seal" with 3 screws as seen ...

Spark Plug Wrench Size
I feel stupid having to ask but I searched the message board, and the manual and couldn't find an answer... what size spark plug wrench is needed? I used to have one but lost it at some point. They seems to come in 1/2, 3/4, 13/16, and 15/16.

Re: Derestrict Questions: Airbox, Exhaust, and Oil Pump
Any reason why I'd get the channel locking version over the more adjustable locking version? http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_17544.jpg http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d...

Re: Derestrict Questions: Airbox, Exhaust, and Oil Pump
While I had it apart I actually installed a #78 jet... couldn't really see a noticeable size difference from the one that was previously installed though, but I assume the visible size difference from a #68 to #78 is minute.

Re: Derestrict Questions: Airbox, Exhaust, and Oil Pump
I didn't because I don't have an impact gun and all shops in my area were closed. I plan on checking next weekend, but I can't imagine it was removed at the scooter never hits over 30mph.

Derestrict Questions: Airbox, Exhaust, and Oil Pump
Hello friends, Finally got around to pulling my restricted SA50P apart today and found some interesting things... I went hunting for the "second airbox tab" to punch out, as well as the "washer to drill out in the exhaust" and couldn't find either. This is where I was looking: ht...

Re: Homecoming (Back on an SA50 after a 2 year hiatus)
Still haven't replaced my battery, which makes riding at night quite sketchy... I've called a few places in town but it seems like most auto stores in this area don't carry scooter batteries. Can anyone think of a reason not to get this battery for $23? It seems very inexpensive. http://www.monsters...

Re: Homecoming (Back on an SA50 after a 2 year hiatus)
The only rationale I had for less displacement was the potential for being able to get away with less work and less modifications. The more I ride around in the city, the more I'm convinced that I really won't be needing 45mph. MOST of my riding is going to be in traffic and topping around 30mph. I'...
