I work for a tire company and just thought to ask them, it won't affect the speedo in any way that is noticable. Though wider tires get you less gas mileage.

will 2.75 x 10 tires on an 87 spree make the speedo read inaccurately?

hey, in california you can run a spree in the bike lane. it has less than 2 bhp, 49 cc's, and "not" capable of more than 30 miles an hour. check your state manuals to see if you can get away with it too.

make sure that idle screw is 1 1/2 turns out fromn being bottomed out also. Should make a popping inconsistent noise.

I have a stock spree, slow starts are normal but barely noticeable. Exactly like starting a diesel in 2nd gear and not raising the rpms correctly. It still goes, but doesn't pop. alot of guys get 25 mph, mine isn't an iowa model and goes at least 33. of course I can't find a long enough street aroun...

Cold air brings down your gas mileage, hot weather reduces engine speed and performance. I always ran a little better @ 80 degrees rather than 100.

No chance you'll get a min of 35 out of it. you need a minimum 80 cc's or a brand new 50 cc model. Lots of modification and metalwork to get it up to that high, you could blow your whole operation up. try NGK spark plug BPR6HIX $14 at an auto parts store. other than that good luck.

I want to try to help you. Put away the drill. Slowly step back from your workbench and reattach the carb to your spree. HaHa! Try once again to fire the thing up. if it doesn't work make sure your idle screw is 1 1/2 turns out, all fuel is flowing freely, and your lines are in their necessary posit...

Shops are notorious for not delivering on your intent. If you ever get the energy I suggest just taking the carb apart yourself and cleaning it with guitar strings and carb cleaner. You should look into cleaning the whole fuel system as well. That is, if your problem is not solved by the shop. It is...

maybe you have a fuel line problem. deposits in the lines could result in not enough gas getting through i suppose. Check them, and your petcock ( I think that's what the thing gas comes down from the tank into the lines is called).

There's something very strange about the difference in spree speeds. I have never been on a long enough stretch to get mine all the way up to speed. I've gotten it up to 33 M.P.H but it still wants to inch up ever so slightly before I'm slowed by the end of the street. Maybe climate is a factor, les...
