Hope you don't mind me asking but is the recommendation on the 8.44 from personal experience or a judgement call/calculation? Either way you know more than I do - just wondering.

In theory, won't the higher gearing give me better mpg? I know it'll mean a bit of a sacrifice as far as quickness getting off the line but that might be OK.

Only thing I don't know is how the stroker kit affects things (quickness, mpg).

Also, any worries about longevity of this set-up?

That's 50mph...

50 is plenty fast for me on a scooter. And since it will be used pretty much all in town (traffic, lots of stop and go, never running higher speeds for more than 3-5 minutes, low to midrange power bank would be great.

So the jury is still kind of out on if this is a good mix of parts or not, right? There are some good parts but just not sure if they (will) work well together.
