This is why I like the JDM stuff.

Kudos for putting forth the effort though.

Re: Front panel confusion

I've never seen an af23 in the flesh, so I wouldn't know about that. AF24 motor is the early AF18 motor. AF16 is USDM. The pulse generator is oriented towards the front on the AF18, and towards the rear on AF16 motors.

Re: Front panel confusion

The AF18 motor with the small crankshaft was used in the first generation JDM Dio scooters (AF24 and AF25). The second generation Dio (AKA Super Dio) also used the small crank AF18 motor in their initial model introduction (AF27). Subsequent AF27 and AF28 Super Dios used the larger crankshaft. The A...

Re: Burial Euro Blaze?

Not sure what the ideal rpm range is, but it worked amazingly well with my MHR kit. Even with medium gearing, it was easy to get the front wheel off the ground with just the throttle.

I seriously doubt you'll even find another one of that particular model.

Re: Burial Euro Blaze?

I'm the one that used to own that pipe, and the bike in the picture is mine. I originally got it new off of Yahoo auctions Japan. They don't make them anymore. I don't think it will fit on an SA50 elite due to the pipe angling up too close to the bodywork. It is an amazing pipe, but I eventually sol...

That hotmail address should have tipped you off. Does anyone even use that anymore?

...and hopefully you were insured for the fraud. Sorry about the loss.

I've owned a lot of Dios, and one Elite. Sold the Elite in less than a week. I kept sliding off the darn seat.

Re: Vac signal for Zx fuel pump location

Hmmmm. I've run three different carburetors with the af18. The tm24 carb was the most finicky, but the others required no adjustment.

Re: Vac signal for Zx fuel pump location

Take a look at the area directly below the oil pump plug opening. That's where the tap should be. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3096/3131857249_f52229de3a_z.jpg DSC_6264 Honda Dio ZX That OEM vacuum nipple is a 90 degree tube. This allows it to clear the starter motor. If you don't run a starter, y...
