SA50 vs SE50 final drive gasket
ok so we know with a little machining the dio gears can be used with the SE50 engines, but can one use the same final drive reduction gasket between the two as well? gettin' harder/more expensive to find SE50 parts in the states and not having to import them from the UK.

Re: Aero ct intake
ok so here are some pics... didnt take as long as i thought... here is the bare intake on its own, just like the CT, it does need a "filler or spacer" plate under it to make sure it seals properly. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6014/6012496839_2daec8b05a.jpg here it is on the "mock u...

Re: Aero ct intake
so i finally got the intake and carb in finally. they were aparantly on back order far longer than treats thought they would be... but the good news is the non ct OKO dio intake that treats sells does fit under the body panels of an aero just fine. now the trick is going to be finding a filter that ...

Re: OKO cable choke
so after the entire night being spent on trying to find an adapter kit, i think i found one. And the best part is that i dont have to ship it from japan or europe! since the OKO is simply a PWK clone this setup should work in theory (of course that doesnt always work out in practice), and if it does...

OKO cable choke
Ok, so im anxiously watching the tracking number from treats so i can get my motor back up and running, and i started thinking about the choke on the 19mm blk blk. Being that i want to keep the aero panels i figure i am going to need a cable choke. But i cant find any oko choke conversion setups. Wi...

Re: 1985 Aero 50. help get me to 45mph
There are only a few options in the 19mm and less size. The there is the arreche that bolts up directly to the stock intake. The are a couple other options in the CT style from dellorto and oko but seem to go out of stock very quickly. trealand.tv is the only place I have seen them on a regular basi...

Re: 1985 Aero 50. help get me to 45mph
Keep in mind that the adapter with the CT intake will more than likely not fit under stock plastics on an aero. You can get to 45 on the stock intake, you just can't cruise there on stock gears and bore.

Re: 1985 Aero 50. help get me to 45mph
10:1 gears will be your best help, in my experience. they are kind of hard to find, but my 85 really started to run out of "legs" around 40-45, with 10:1 it started to run out in the low 50s. a good aftermarket pipe definitely helps as well, such as the leo vince sp3 besides that, a big bo...

Re: Honda Tact
The tract is (if variated) is essentially a euro aero. so out should be very similar to modifying the aero rack. Keep in mind though it depends on the year. I have an 83 aero rack that I am modifying for my wifes 87 aero that is the same spacing on the bottom bolts, but not on the top. So it may sti...

DIY leak down tester
im sure 3 has seen where i ripped this idea off from over on scooter invasion as there are a few guys on there building their own testers, and i didnt want to pay for a leak down "kit" so i built my own. what is the easiest way to find leaks, pressurize the engine, of course. so i set out ...

Re: Let's set the record straight for elite wheel upgrades
the biggest difference between the two is when you have a blow out. with a tubeless it is usually a slow leak, where as a tube type is usually a complete blow out type situation, and you better pack an extra pair of underpants in the glove box...PimpinSpree wrote:is here a benefit to tubeless/tubed?
