Re: Elite-E, Won't Start

Re: Low dollar to high dollar budget estimates to use a 48mm
Very interesting. What do you think about up sizing the main with the stock air box and drilling no holes. I wonder what the biggest jet you can use with stock air box with no holes. I have heard of people up jetting just slightly on the SA50 with a BBK and still using the negative pressure of the s...

Re: No vaccumn 83 Aero 80
Have you tried to spray carb cleaner in the intake of the carb to see if it will start? If it rolls over that will rule out a few problems that could exist. One thing you can do to prime the carb is to put your hand over the intake of the carb and hit the starter button and if you feel gas hit your ...

Re: Power cutting/bogging out
I think you are spot on. I would adjust the tab on the float to max. It may take a few times to get it just right but thats life of tuning. I would also check the vacuum line for air draw. If you suck on the vacuum line and you feel a constant draw or gas comes out of the vacuum line it sounds like ...

Re: Low dollar to high dollar budget estimates to use a 48mm
I appreciate all the help in the area of fine-tuning these BBKÔÇÖs. I will revise the instructions on the holes in the stock air box lid as recommended in this thread. I do want to add the stock carb works fine. I walk a lot of my customers through the process and they have very good results. Most o...

Re: spark and fuel, will not start
Make sure that slide is in the carb correctly. Check the vacuum line for cracks. Also make sure the carb is tight and the plastic piece in between the carb and intake is installed correct.

No it will not fit. Just for starters the piston is taller and a 39mm and the wrist pin is 12mm

Re: Honda spree crank mods. Ya done em? Check out mine.
There is no way a variator will fit in a spree. The crank is just to short. I tried to get one made but failed. I have the honda pal engine you are talking about. I put a BBK, 21mm carb, and mlm pipe on it and it ran pretty good but it still hit the 42 mph wall. I played around with that variator se...

Re: corsa won't start
That is a good question. Did you install a new plug? Thats first thing you need to do is a get a new plug. It is not uncommon for a plug to foul. That would be an easy fix

Re: corsa won't start
I wanted to add if there is damage on the cylinder a quick hone and new piston should do the trick if the damage is light. Just use a feeler gauge to check for gap just to be safe. Don't want any slap. The thing is you have to find out why you lost compression or it will or could happen again. The c...
