Carb is clean. Spark is issue

Could it be the voltage regulator?

Symptom: Runs for 5 sec - then dies with no spark.

I have checked the stator - pulled it, cleaned it, checked ac volts seems good.

Checked coil
checked cdi
tried another wire harness

aside from the obvious differences, how much different is it working on pwc's as opposed to the single cylinder scooters? Anyone made the transition? I may have the opportunity to start working on jetskis - we'll see.

You know it's funny - I find it easier to ride during rush hour in the traffic than mid day when folks are in a hurry and driving too fast.
