GTS 300 Super. If you like the nostalgic look, this one`s got the same displacement, GTV 300. I would take i...

ready to throw it in the lake...Chinese 150cc
Symptom: Runs for 5 sec - then dies with no spark.
I have checked the stator - pulled it, cleaned it, checked ac volts seems good.
Checked coil
checked cdi
tried another wire harness
i am in need of ideas

Stuck in China town.
I thought the title was particularly clever. A customer brought in a bike that had been sitting for a while. 600ish kilometers on it. Practically nothing. Cleaned the carb, got it running, but has been weird ever since. Wont idle and cold starting is difficult. PLugs are reading really rich - like r...

Re: Chinese trouble
Still a problem... I think it is the CDI... New vac/fuel lines valve clearance set new plug again tested with another coil I thought i had it sussed - ran up and down the road well, but then the symptoms appeared again - i think the plug is getting fouled with carbon. Spark is there but seems more w...

working on a jetski vs scooter
aside from the obvious differences, how much different is it working on pwc's as opposed to the single cylinder scooters? Anyone made the transition? I may have the opportunity to start working on jetskis - we'll see.

Re: Surviving on the road--how do you do it?
You know it's funny - I find it easier to ride during rush hour in the traffic than mid day when folks are in a hurry and driving too fast. The scooter seems equipped perfectly for the stop and go and other drivers are a little more cautious during heavy traffic. My sentiment echos what has been sai...
