Re: Money Changes Everything
Greetings: Very funny, Jamz! However as K1d suggested, did you use any type of sealant or an O-Ring? If the "Money Plug" isn't airtight to begin with, you may otherwise have issues. That said, the copper and gold may act as an octane booster... :) How dare you suggest that my money plug i...

Big Money Oil Pump Plug
I would think by having so much open volume behind the plug, you would loose a great deal of that needed crank case pressure. Genius yes, but ghetto fabulous for the win! I was always taught if you do something 1/2 a**ed then don't do it at all. Do it right the first time. Even if it takes a tad bi...

That is the coolest thing ever!
I am definatly going to do that.
The quarter does not fit on mine, that means your quarter must be modded.
I will post pics of my progress.

Re: 50mm Big Bore Elite S Build
Your boost port needs to be ported more towards the crank more.you have a bottle neck going on so it would slow your flow coming to the boost port from the case. Hmm ok I think I know what you mean. I don't want to cut too much. Like this? http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/traffic...

Re: Broken stud. Idea's of removal?
Snap-on has these extractors I use them mostly for stripped allen bolts, but if the stuck/snapped bolt can be drilled into at all, these extractrs will get your bolt out. The size drill bit needed is stamped on each one. This one is 7/32" , but the smallest one in the set is 1/8" I think. ...

Re: How to quiet a 1986 Spree
The more times the exhaust flow changes direction (180 degrees) the more likely the sound waves will cancel each other out. That is how the baffelling inside the stock exhaust works. What about the silencers that are on the end of the big expantion pipes? If you fit one of those on the end of you st...

Are you going to use the stock blinkers and brake light combo when you put this scoot back together?
If not...how much for the 1987 blinker/stop light setup? I can not find one anywhere.

Here are some pretty cool pics of the jug line up with each half of the case to show the boost port from the inside. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2221.jpg http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2222.jpg http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficj...

Re: 50mm Big Bore Elite S Build
Since I am making the CT mani super smooth, I figured it would be a good time to smooth edges of the intake ports in the case too. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2201.jpg http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2205.jpg http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: 50mm Big Bore Elite S Build
that manifold isn't bad once you smooth out the sharp edges. Well, if dem0nk1d says the CT needs smoothing, I'd better get to it. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2173.jpg http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_2174.jpg Ahh yes .... I see the edges...
