Riding a scooter has marginal value to me. It was worth about $200. I paid $150 for the scooter. I'm over $200 already, and it will cost me nearly $200 more to get it licensed in Texas after all is said and done. That money won't come back. It was a challenge to see if I could get this thing to hit ...

Define 'work'. I have to use foot power to get it going fast enough to where the engine can actually start to accelerate the thing. Even then it climbs very slowly to 15 or 20. Then it kicks in and takes me to 35 or so. I don't like it, it's coming off. I saw 37 once. That's as good as I'm going to ...

Noise, I'd love to know where you got your expansion chamber and mufflers. I bought the one you sent me a link to, and finally getting a chance to look at the flange piece I cut off of it, it's the same length as the piece I welded it to on the old flange. So I kept the original length. And it's lou...

Noise, are the pipes you are making the same diameter as the picture you have on this thread? I purchased the one from the Ebay auction link you sent me. It's no bigger in diameter than the stock muffler, in fact maybe smaller. It is an expansion chamber, but not much of one. I brought it out in fro...

$38 for three little springs? Does that include shipping from Canada? Does no one in the states sell these things? I need to sell this thing. I just moved to Texas. In MI I pay $15 and ride it. In Texas, I have to get insurance, get it inspected, pay for registration, a title (it doesn't have one an...

Not sure what maddog's three identical posts were trying to say. To transfer hp x torque into speed? Huh? You don't transfer hp into anything. Hp is a function of the bmep brake mean effective pressure) of the engine. The engine has a torque curve. The torque changes throughout the speed range of th...
