I suspect those are for the oil level so when your oil gets to a low level it turns on a red warning light on the speedometer panel. I'm pretty sure the yellow and blue wires are for the fuel level gauge.

Re: Honda Spree to Eve headset conversion

Ok, I see what you have. So you are not concerned about having a fuel gauge then? Yes, go ahead and connect the wires you can make out for the lightsand the other ones then will be the fuel gauge and turns. You should be able to figure it out from there. Make sure you get all the ground wires correc...

And here is the wiring on the spree itself, kind of hard to see what's going on.

Re: Honda Spree to Eve headset conversion

IMG_5171.jpg IMG_5170.jpg Top is the eve, bottom is spree. I can match most of the wires up with new connections but I have no idea where the brown and green wires on the eve speedo go I cant find anything in English about it either. There are clearly a lot more wires coming off the spree, do I jus...

Re: Honda Spree to Eve headset conversion

I have everything for the headset, turn signals, headlight, cowls, speedometer. I do not have the eve handle bars but I am now learning I may need them. I'm confused on the wiring for the speedometer for the most part, there are a lot more wire connections on the spree speedo compared to the eve's. ...

Re: Honda Spree to Eve headset conversion

... has the round headlight? Did it come with the EVE handlebars? Or did you just purchase the light and speedometer cowls? I have not done this conversion but it should be fairly easy to figure out. You have a headlight and 2 turn signal lights. Just like the Spree. I have done other JDM headset ...

Honda Spree to Eve headset conversion

I’m doing a conversion to a Honda eve on my spree and the wiring looks different between the two on the headset. If anyone knows how to do it I need some guidance.

Thanks,
Casper

Re: Electronic conversion for a Spree anyone?

The cost and time invested makes it hard to justify. Theres plenty of e-scoots on the market to choose from. Likely cheaper than a conversion would cost. Save yourself the headache and buy a turnkey”ready to ride” scoot. Fyi: I just upgraded the battery on my e-bike to a 52v 30ah and it ...

Re: Electronic conversion for a Spree anyone?

And it would have to be cheap given there are lots of cool e-rides coming onto the market for around $1000 US. Batteries etc should get cheaper and cheaper with better range but it would probably always be for a short distance commute. The Spree turned in to stand up scooter is the only fun modifica...

Re: Electronic conversion for a Spree anyone?

I've seen a few "mopeds" (not scooters) that have been converted.
Makes sense to start with a bike that already has a swingarm instead of an engine case that serves as swingarm.
Much less to engineer.

Electronic conversion for a Spree anyone?

Has any smarty done an e-conversion for a Spree yet? Any ideas on the cheapest easiest ways? I see one motorbike modification just entailed a new rear frame that used the old suspension spring and bolts with the battery slotted in where ...

Re: Official NS50F thread

... go with a Drum?! Not curious ?!? Maybe cost was a factor, but if I owned an NS I'd think about converting to disc if only for the Profile. The conversion is commonly done to disc fork assembly swapped from the sister bikes of the NS-1 and similar Honda bikes. It's not easy to acquire the parts, ...
