Re: Low RPMs on takeoff

I can dig out my carb tomorrow to check jetting but itÔÇÖs really an individual number, MeatballÔÇÖs ran great and I tried to mimic his, ended up being different by at least 5 sizes but IÔÇÖm pretty sure I had I mean air leak back then. Regardless rode it 69 miles a day in hilly t...

Re: Low RPMs on takeoff

With the pg short I found 5g weights in the vari to be the game changer, yellow contra spring and shoe springs to launch at 4500-5000 rpms, also stock belt, not a malossi for some reason.

When you say 1500 yellow are you referring to the contra or the 3 engagement springs?

Re: New Spree Owner Help!

Air filter, is it in good shape, is it even there? Air box lid, is it there and on securely? Additionally is the boot from the air box to the carb on securely and tight?

Re: Af16.. Which Belt?

I can testify to the malossi Kevlar hindering a stock setup. I have one but ended up using a used stock belt as the Kevlar added nothing but issues. Hopefully
One day my can put it to use.

Re: 85 spree muffler mod

I would just get a new one, I've played with a few that had been opened up and never got a decent run with any. Looks like you have the heat guard, that's worth more than the pipe in my opinion, mine are all missing that. I have an extra pipe I'm not doing anything with if you're interested.
