New Clutch Idea-Smart people welcome

Hey I was sitting around thinking about how to make a clutch grab better. My idea is to create a clutch that has a cam-like movement that at a certain percent of movement relieves SOME spring tension from the "grabber" springs. Key points: The clutch arm travel will be held by the same spr...

Re: Fuel Injection for Honda AF16E?

http://inventions.aerocorsair.com/id36.htm I also found this that looks pretty cool, but $500 compared to a $100 Polini carb seems a little crazy for a scooter.[/quote] I have looked into this topic for several years and trust me if there was 1 guy on this site that would have been all over that kit...

Re: mopeds you ride (pics please)

Here is a rare sight. My red Elite SR50 500 miles. Its been in storage at the in-laws since 2012. Today I rode it home with no license plate, the gas is form 2012 also. Runs like a champ, tires were not at 35psi though. Glad to have her back home. She is sitting next to the Beta 50RR Supermotard fro...

Re: EFI - performance

That makes sense. We small bore nerds typically cant support too much high end R&d due to budget restraints. Too bad rich people invest into lucrative markets instead of scooters!

Re: Just know you should love your honda.

Is Maddog a bot or is he actually a human? I agree. The Hondas are so easy to work on and simple. Even doing a yahama very was a pain. Who uses Phillips screws for fasteners that hold the cases together. And the starter internals? Even the oil pump design is wonky. Hondas all the way. Simple, relia...

Re: Harbor Freight 20 Ton Press review

They have a 20 ton air/ hydraulic pump for 99.00 I know what I will put on there next. 12 tons will handle most everything! There are some cool 90 degree press brakes that can be used in a press to handle pretty thick materials. check this out http://www.swagoffroad.com/20-TON-Press-Brake-DIY-Builde...

Yeah buddy! I love this little press. I had a enerpac Hydraulic/ electric but it was huge and I have little space. Casters are next to make it easy to roll around.
