Re: Just sealed the deal an hour ago on an Iowa Spree
Nice score eclark! That spree looks pretty decent, it's great to see one not faded like so many out there and actually see 87 spree decals all intact without any peeling or pieces chipped. Good luck on your new project!

Re: any way to convert three prung gas tank float to a two?
55mph on a STOCK spree?! I don't think so. Not possible unless you do some 150cc or what ever motor swap. Or if it really is stock, it certainly isn't a Spree or other 50cc 80's Honda.

Re: (2) 1984 White Spree's Restoration
Cleeeeeeeaaaaaaaan! Nice bikes, I love the white ones. I would suggest maybe some "clear-bra" over the footboard. It would be a shame to put shoes on that clean bike! Socks-only rule? Thanks!! Your right! These are too clean for shoes! :) Some rubber floor mats sure would be nice

Re: Will a Spree exhaust fit on an Elite E?
I wonder if the Spree exhaust is more restrictive than the sb50 seeing as how the sb50 intake and reeds are supposed to flow better. It's very possible yes! The perfect test would be taking the plastics and nq50 muffler of a spree, and putting a sb50 exhaust on, just to see. Honda made so many mino...

Re: AX24 belt for spree latest update
Alrighty, the AX23 belt does NOT work well with a BBK spree either Did the same thing it did on my stock spree. Bummer, because I love the extra speed it gives, but hate the low end.

Re: 86 Spree Electrical Issue
The harness seems to be fine, didn't see anything wrong with it. Now, when I start it up, the tail light is not coming on, but when I slide the turn signal switch either left or right, the tail light then will come on and the blinkers are VERY bright, noticed it with the headlight too. Hmmm

Re: Will a Spree exhaust fit on an Elite E?
I ended up tracking done the right pipe. I'll do a side by side comparison when I get it in the mail. I'm going to end up putting the sb50 back together, getting it running, and selling it. :thumbwink: The only difference in the NQ50 pipe vs. the SB50 pipe is the NQ50 is straight out, and the SB50 ...

Re: 86 Spree Electrical Issue
Ok yup I'm gonna check over that harness from top to bottom front to back today. I'll check out the handle bar controls too. Something definitely messed up somewhere on this harness.

Re: 86 Spree Electrical Issue
It is a new to me bike. Never had it running before. Just was doing a few things to prepare it for running and stumbled across this. :? So yea who knows, maybe there is something messed up somewhere. Or I have a bad relay/regulator/rectifier. I'm not sure, but it may be a crossed wire as the headlig...

86 Spree Electrical Issue
Hey all, New issue here, I have an 86 spree with an electrical problem. The other day I went to put a battery in it, and I thought it was weird it "sparked" when I was connecting the connections. After looking at it I noticed the headlight was slightly on but very dim. I got my service man...

Re: 1985 Spree won't turn over
I had this same problem a month ago with my 85 Spree too. It had been sitting since September, and when I went to start it, it turned over once and hydro-locked. Pulled the plugged and turned it over and oil was coming out like Niagara falls  Needless to say I got it running after cranking it o...
