Re: My 1994 Honda Elite

Made another quick video showing what the PG Short exhaust is like on an elite for people interested.

Re: 94 elite S 50. Mods done and no take off.

I'm also experiencing this on my elite where it takes off extremely slow, then pulls hard. I'm not sure if it's my carb or clutch. Also I think you should be getting a little more top end because I can get close to that speed with a near stock scooter.

Re: Af16.. Which Belt?

So based on what you guys are saying: Malossi is best for performance, bando is decent, polini is junk?

Re: My scooter collection

I wish some of the older builders were still on here. It's cool to see the variety of scooters.

Re: three sprees to choose from

Depends if they have the titles. Where I live, scooters are required to be registered to legally drive them on the road. If they have titles it usually makes them worth more, but that's just from my own experience buying sprees and elites.

Re: Clutch Springs or Rollers for Acceleration

Would 4k RPM clutch springs be bad for a stock clutch?

Re: My 1994 Honda Elite

Made a video showing my top speed. I know it's not as fast as other builds, but it's a lot faster than stock!

Re: My 1994 Honda Elite

Decided to get a GPS app to see what my top end actually is since I can't tell on the speedometer. Is this pretty good for the stuff I've done to my elite?

Clutch Springs or Rollers for Acceleration

Ever since I've had my elite there's been a pause or lag when I accelerate from being completely stopped. What would decrease that pause, lower rpm clutch springs or lighter roller weights? I'm still running stock 12:1 gears and plan on switching to 9:1 soon.

SA50P Installing new gears

I've been looking for a thread about putting in different gears for my 94 SA50P. I'm thinking about getting the 15x42 taida gears from SSS. I haven't been able to find any information on how to install them.
