Re: inner clutch nut socket size
For those out there that dont have proper size socket.
It can also be taking off with a set of water pump pliers. Just catch the lip of the clutch in a vise with nut facing up and loosen the nut.
Not Ideal but it works in a pinch. Or if you dont have other tools.

Re: 78 ford courier with mazdaspeed miata turbo engine
Very cool Build!
The GT turbos are nice but you pay for them. If you want to spend the money by all means.
t3/t4 turbo can do 500+ hp on pending what wheels and housings you use. And you can get these cheap cause everyone is after the GTs.
What wheels and housing are you getting for the hybrid?

Hello Friend
I usually plug the pump and premix with modified bikes.
If keeping the pump I would leave it tied open.
I think Mr. Wheelman figured out the ratios once on the pump and even when tied open its not a whole lot of oil for a modded bike.

Re: Sidecar Bonneville Land Speed Elite 50 build
Killing time before the next event (World Finals) at Bonneville at the end of September and looking for more power. A couple of things have me scratching my head. 1) Engine does not want to turn over 9000rpm. My thoughts are the port configuration and pipe are the limiting factors here. which leads...

Re: variator 1993 elite
You can get creative with a strap wrench or a chain wrench.
But really the easiest thing to do is use a impact gun.
I use a battery powered torque driver on mine. But taking it off fot the first time might take something with a lillte more power.
