Re: 1985 spree gy6 50cc swapped (now with supercharger)
I don't know anything about smog pumps. But I had two thoughts. What if you put sealed bearings in the pump? Not sure what kind of a job that would be. The other thought what if you mixed a little 2 stroke oil in the gas to live to bearings in the pump? I just wanted to throw the not knocking part o...

Re: 1985 spree gy6 50cc swapped (now with supercharger)
Oh thats too bad you cant put it on the suction side. Where you going to put a check valve? With that carb fuel is delivered when there is a pressure drop across the venturi. The carb cant sense boost pressure. The carb will deliver the same amount of fuel at 0 psi as it will at 5psi. you are going ...

Re: 1985 spree gy6 50cc swapped (now with supercharger)
Need to put the carb on the suction side Of the pump.
Or you need a blow through carb.
That carb isnt designed to see positive pressure.
Cool build!!!

Re: 94-01 sa50 belt
For clarification I run Kevlar belt 61 7215 on all my S trans bikes.
I also know that Bakaracer uses this belt exclusively when he races, even with his stroker and swears buy them.
This is by far the best belt available for our bikes.

Re: polini manifold and carb test.
The only reason everyone is stuck on OKO is the price.
You just cant get a Quality Flatslide carb for 70$
Plenty of options for round slide though.

Re: Scooterswapshop DYNO numbers, and facts
This should be interesting. Though I would use the term fact loosely cause results are going to vary. You could do a pull with the same scooter 5 days in a row and get a different number. Heck if you do three pulls the same day the numbers will be different, let alone show a 1/4 or 1/2 hp gain from ...

Re: Anybody know of the 50mm (pop) kit liquid
There is a good chance that 50mm POP kit is for a mini stroke crank. If it is a large stroke crank probably isnt going to work.

Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
The porcelain color is mostly dictated by heat range of plug.
For carb tuning you need to look at the soot ring that is down inside where the porcelain meets the metal.

Though The brakes dont bother me tooo much.
I just imagine the tiny bolt that holds the front tire on just turning into molten lava at 75mph.
