I have an idea but I don't know the correct procedure. you start off with a lots of heat cycles. bring it up the temperature let it cool off. after so many heat cycles, I like to do at least 5 you take it for a one...

What is the correct way to break in a BBK or stroker motor? What are the correct heat cycles and what are they exactually. And what is the fuel needed and ratio for a 114 stroker air cooled?

Ok fixed it. Ripped intake boot. Easy fix with Scooter Swap on my team. The best.graphite9 wrote:Hey jim. Check your rubber boot around the carb for an air leak. Make sure your vac lin is still connected. Check those black plugs on the top of the carb also.

Had the same problem and melted the rings right into the piston. I'm sure it was the cheap v8 pipe. I had a huge exhaust leak. No more cheap parts for this guy.LoveMyHonda wrote:Which ring did you use on top? It goes shiny on top dull on bottom.

runs on choke only
Driving scoot around and started to rev at stop light. Got home with it and went to start this morning and it will only run with choke on. Turn off choke and it dies. Any thoughts?
