Re: Finished top end build, won't start.
That is good I guess. The plug is wet, fuel is getting into the cylinder. Not to question your info, but you are positive that the compression is 125psi? From there it would lead me to believe that there is either a problem with the ignition system, or that the carb is so our of whack or not working...

Re: Finished top end build, won't start.
Ok, lets start from the top. The engine ran, then you installed a BBK, manifold, and carb? You fuel/air, compression, and timing to run. You said you have good spark, there is fuel in the carb, and 125psi. Is fuel getting into the intake, reeds, and engine? Is there fuwl in the cylinder? Plug wet? I...

Re: Finished top end build, won't start.
Might sound like a dumb question, but is the bowl actually dull of fuel? Just wondering if there was enough vacuum applied to the petcock to fill the carb?

I just got pics from 1man of the port work he did on my Corsa. Looks awesome and he said it is to run great. Gladly pay someone who really knows what they are doing to do it correct. I'll post up some info once it gets here and I can try it out. Like stated above , anyone can bolt parts together tog...

Re: Install BBK
It is so easy to remove the entire engine assembly. Only takes a few minutes. Much easier to have the entire thing on a bench to work on instead of trying fish around while its still on the bike.

Peugeot vertical engine scooter, Honda engine?
Just curious about the Peugeot scooter. Many parts which fit the AF16 engine are listed as parts for a Peugeot Vertical. I have not been able to find any actual technical info on these Peugeots using Google. I was just wondering exactly which Peugeot scooter these these parts are built for, and do t...

Re: porting prices, what do you think they should be.
I guess it would depend on the time involved. I would think you could realistically charge $100/hr for labor. That being said, I guess it depends on how you do things. I am an ASE certified auto technician. Average mechanical labor rates around this area are about $110/hr. When I do side work for pe...
