Re: Nb50 no start bad bistarter
Could be petcock, reeds, air leak, gummed up pilot circuit/float valve or emulsion tube, air box/filter related, on and on...even something simple as an 0-ring on your bystarter or intake/carb spacer would wreak havoc. Fuel mixture screw in the proper place? idle screw? Plug sparks but is it correct...

Re: Nb50 no start bad bistarter
I would check all other reasons on why it wont start before buying a bystarter. I've heard of them going bad, for sure, but its not typical. I bet its something much simpler than that.

Re: For those who helped w/ my "hardshifting" Aero...some pi
Flat spots are a sign that they need to be replaced. Rollers are cheap enough that it wont break the bank but certainly don't get junk generic ones. Grease has no business in this area and SOME people recommend to rub the rollers with Graphite Powder. Also called Graphite Lube. Usually comes in a ti...

Re: Blue smoke
What does the air filter look like? Those foam filters get plugged up or degrade over time and dry out. They need to be in good shape AND oiled for it to run properly. They are designed by Honda to create the precise amount or airflow paired with the correct amount of resistance to create the vacuum...

California Officially Legalizes Lane Splitting
Theres been a few times in traffic I thought about lane splitting and didn't. Its not legal in my state but looks like it now is(or will be)in California. Be safe out there, Cali dudes! http://www.dailynews.com/general-news/20160822/california-just-became-the-first-state-to-legalize-motorcycle-lane-...

Re: new to me spree with pics
"inexpensive" and "upgrade" usually don't go in the same sentence. Question is: are you looking for a stiffer spring or one with more travel? or both?

Re: SE50 swap on spree top out at 35
Ive never played with the Polini carb so I have no clue as to which jet is best. I just know that my stock carb likes either the #87 or #90. They both work about the same. My needle position is in the middle of the three notches and mixture screw is in the factory recommended position. Stock airbox ...

Re: SE50 swap on spree top out at 35
Im running the stock carb so this may not apply but when I swapped the gears from an unrestricted SE50 to mine, I only gained about 1mph. All the gears are the same except for gear "A" on this chart (link below) which has one extra tooth. It changes the ratio from 11.097 to 10.244. I didn'...

Re: Elite 150 Spree swap...doable?
Thx for talking me out of it, Tyler. The water-cooled hurdle would be a deal breaker for me. Too much fab work that I'd want to take on. $100 for that is a decent deal if the motor has low-ish miles anyways.

Elite 150 Spree swap...doable?
I found a deal on an Elite 150 motor. Thinking about swapping into a Spree. Has anyone done it or is it pretty simple?
