Re: Spree wont run without filter myth
"Those are yes men answers" is a rebuttal? Saying "WELL THIS WORKS ON AN ELITE" is a rebuttal? Last I checked, a Spree is not an elite. You saying the reed size and intake difference makes no difference? Well *, why am I even bothering trying to hunt down an SB50 reed and cage th...

Re: My Build Thread
I'd have it powder coated, seeings as how you are starting with a raw frame. Might as well start it off strong.

Re: Spree wont run without filter myth
**sigh** Think I'll trust the opinion of the Engineers and Technicians that I work with at Polaris Industries who get paid the 6 figure salaries to know what everybody only hypothesizes about. All of them I talked to said the air filter is needed, and explained exactly why. I'd certainly trust their...

To see if it is engaging and disengaging properly. Reference page 4-3 of the Honda Spree service manual.

That's why I was asking about the intake I linked to. Found this topic on it:Kustomkarma wrote:Has anyone tried mounting a Mikuni or an Oko carburetor on a Spree?

I'd buy one and try it if I could get confirmation first.

Re: Speedometer builds
I plan on taking a different approach. I'm ordering a cheap used gauge cluster for my spree off of eBay just so I can examine it, figure out the best way to tear it apart, then I plan on doing a new overlay for the speed and gas, turn, etc.. I'll use GPS as a guide to create pickpoints, then I'll pl...

Re: Aftermarket Carburetor for stock Spree - are there any?
Speaking of which....
Saw this in an old forum post, will it for sure work on a Spree?

I saw mention of it, but never a confirmation.

Re: Aftermarket Carburetor for stock Spree - are there any?
Actually Custom you are correct. That little intake manifold restricts a lot. I remember the first time I put one of 21mm carb kits on. I was stoked. My set up was a 48mm BBK and the 21mm carb kit with no gears. My spree's acceleration was like night and day. It actually felt like I had a variated ...

For that one, you need the adapter, would be best to just go with

Taz was selling gasket kits on eBay, don't know if he still is. Would make more sense just to buy one over trying to make one.

Re: Stock Spree with Taz gears..RESULTS!!
That's a bummer. You got a nice little scoot there. You'd easily see over 40 with the BBK.
