Re: Starting a build for my 01 elite
then do what I did and spend 3 weeks reading everything on here that could possibly pertain to my elite. it helped alot but time consuming. I loved my contessa for the brief time I had it. while yes you can have great success with a stock parts I went with a better clutch and carb as I knew eventual...

Re: 01 Elite SR "GOOCH"
HavenÔÇÖt posted in a while. Big changes for the GOOCH. Got a zx trans finally itÔÇÖs used but low miles with clutch and bell. Been using the 3 shoe polini with stock bell which had 12k on it. It was not great but worked. Got the zx malossi belt to go with it. ItÔÇÖs crazy the difference a zx pulley...

Re: ZX trans installation
The key IÔÇÖve found so far is shimming the variator so the belt rides on the boss. IÔÇÖm currently in the process myself after years of a stock pulley and it was night and day on take off. With a mismatched belt and no tuning. Get the right belt if you havenÔÇÖt already as thatÔÇÖs super important.

Re: My scooter collection
I still look on here as there are still good guys doing work. Unfortunately the GOOCH is at stand stil as IÔÇÖm super busy and when it seems to be fighting against me. I wish had more time and resources to do more. This is still one of best places for info though more guys are on faceplace now.

Re: Input On Parts
He did, order is in the air. Patience, trust me, you will have no complaints with the corsa or the contessa, but the corsa is just a down right nasty kit for the price difference. It's worth every penny.

Re: Input On Parts
Cool I just dropped him a line to see if he has the corsa in stock. Were it me I'd wait for the corsa I've run both and the corsa is by far the more beastly of the two. Just heard from B polini orders lands in the next 2 days. Polini shut down for their yearly break and dragging getting back up and ...

Re: Input On Parts
26 will be to o big for the Contessa in my opinion . I'm currently running a 26 with the Corsa and I feel it's to o big for that. Have you made contact with Brandon to see if they are actually out of the Corsa? Lots of time he has them but not uploaded to the web. Is that all you plan on doing to th...

Re: 01 Elite SR "GOOCH"
A couple pics. Pulled a few rocks out from the headlight. I had to bend the plate up as it was almost wrapped around the clutch which tells me somehow the bike hit to bend it down so it either flipped or did a strange roll. And it was mangled the plate holder still works though. Snapped kicker end o...
