Hi all!
I'm in the middle of installing some new tires: Continental Zippy 1s. The old tire were just that, old. Also going install my 9:1 gears and do some clutch spring adjusting and variator too.

Is it some tiny nubbin that slides in the grove on the stem?? It is exactly that. It's a square which slides into the groove on the fork stem. You could fix it, but it will take some welding of sort to build it back up and then some file handy work. Mine is worn down too, but I lined it up with the...

"I like that flat-ish color of orange." That's the almighty Krylon Tangerine orange! lol Didn't want to spend $50 on paint. With these gears, I'll be able to keep up with my buddies Honda Helix. They're our camping vehicles... It's definitely lots of fun to drive and I get the RCMPs attent...

So I got some 9:1 gears from G9; would I have to change any clutch/variator parts to match?
I have 9.8:1 now...
