Re: SSS sponsored vapours rally In canada

My scoot just wasn't ready for the F2F. Unless I wanted to deal with bad front brakes, No kickstand and a carb that leaks fuel. I can get by with shoddy brakes but I can just see me on the ferry having to hold my bike up the whole time while constantly dripping gas. No Bueno. Brakes and Fuel leak fi...

Re: Getting the Tazland BBK, GEARS, + MLM ran on a dyno

LOVE the "Toadette" license plate frame. Seems like your kids are lucky to have a Dad like you. Nothings more fun to me than cruising around with the fuzzy view of my Son on his scoot in my Spree mirror. Life is too short to sit on the couch and drink beer all day while barking at the kids...

Re: Getting the Tazland BBK, GEARS, + MLM ran on a dyno

The only way that these upgrades would be worth the money and effort (for me) is if the Spree went 40mph all day long without issue. I have a BONE STOCK Spree that runs 30mph all day long and the take-offs aren't too unbearable. If I was to invest $100 BBK, $200 MLM, $100 gears and spend all the tim...

Re: Spree has spark, compression, and gas. Still won't start

Good point, Pat...you could've ran the cylinder dry with all that initial cranking causing blow-by. It needs juice on that bore to seal and make compression. Besides, nothing kills a motor like a dry bore!

Re: No power to anything.. lights, horn, turn sig.. Nothing!

If youre SURE your ignition is working and turning power on to the system, you should take a multimeter and start poking around at every possible spot starting at the battery. Check for juice before and after the fuse, then follow wiring harness around and test every spot along the way. Test ignitio...

Re: Spree has spark, compression, and gas. Still won't start

[quote="GaryOak"] oil had leaked onto the ground near the back wheel quote] So many issues, where to start? Wiring issues? What kind? You say youre getting spark but wiring issues include starter relay, CDI, Stator, bystarter, etc, etc, which could be a problem. Leaking oil could be a few ...

Re: Getting the Tazland BBK, GEARS, + MLM ran on a dyno

That's the one I used but I went with the angled one. I wasn't sure if the straight one would clear the shock and wanted the flexibility to rotate it out of the way if needed. Its actually much larger in person than I thought it would be. After the rubber part, the foam itself is about the size of a...
