It's a nice engine. Spent a bit of time on it.

You're on the right track for it. The fly 4v is a good swap but keep it og.

Get the stage 6 filter that is angled over these polini ones. I can't stand these filters.

Re: Fastest Af05e Engine
Ya 50 isn't much considering a stock aero with the ab07 can do that. Not getting there as quick of course.

Re: Fastest Af05e Engine
Porting matters a lot along with a pipe to support it. I spun up to 11.2k rpm on 10:1 gears. These af05e bores are very poorly casted, along with very very very poor timing and angles. I don't believe they used a usdm af05e to base the transfer wells off of for sure. And timing is barely over stock.

If you can't find a flywheel soon I'll just hook you up with the zx50 one you sent me with the block.

Once you go aftermarket oem specs are out the window.
You always read the manual for the kit and follow the kits specs. Not factory specs.

Finally, 120 psi is exceptionally low. I'd check the head torque.

Re: corsa won't start
Also it's very possible your engine is flooded. Remove the plug, place a paper towel over the spark plug hole and kick it hard 10 time and check the rag for gas.

Re: corsa won't start
Check to be sure your reed cage is sealed. If it's leaking that bad you need to check why. Naraku don't leak like that unless it's not tight enough. Check the torque and tighter it as you check for leaks.
It won't start if there's a leak at the cage and if it does start it will die.
