left side bearings were also used in Peugeot 6204w12. they can be found from other places besides honda. I found nice 6204w12 c3 bearings on fleabay. great for higher rpm engines

Re: Not getting all the way on pipe
glad to hear youre getting it sorted out. an exhaust leak will kill performance. what weights are you running in your variator? lighter weights will let it rev a little higher before it starts to shift.

Re: 1989 Honda Elite SE50 Mod Suggestions
the engine is a variated af05e. same engine as the aero 50, vision 50, tact 50 and the Peugeot rapido. there are still plenty of performance parts to be had if you search hard enough on the interweb. stay away from the "performance " cdi and coil items as most are worse quality and perform...

yup that's what yall call them. I always forget that name, giorno sound like a vespa with a similar I had. traded that for a 65' smallframe. anyways, back on topic, I know what youre saying on the headset. im a bit of a hoarder too. its good to hear others say this about them selves also. lol im gon...

Re: What carb/machine is this? Need to buy a new carb.
yup im in sometimes sunny southern California. another place to look up parts once you pull your carb is Myron mopeds. hes got a web site with all sorts of pictures and part #s for you to match up to carb. hes a little weird almost an introvert. but hes honest and trustworthy ive purchased from him ...

Re: Help: Honda DJ1RR (SE50) with Dio front end
He means the dj1 handlebars and headlight set. I didn’t see any af18 headsets on scooters in pics. no. in the 11 post in this thread, hes has a dio sr and a zx with a disc brake sitting there. he says the dio af18 is a parts scooter and the zx has wiring issues. I already have a dj1 head set for my...

Re: Help: Honda DJ1RR (SE50) with Dio front end
I think yours is a dj1r (af12) not a dj1rr (af19) your scooter has single head light bulb, no rear fairing scoops, af05e engine (originally), and I don't see dj1rr on your scooterexcept for thbe forks. dj1 and dj1r have a trailing link under shock like the 85-86 aeros. dj1=87 af05e engine dj1r= 88-8...

Re: Honda melody carb adjustment
Yeah I know melody is English, and as I live in Liverpool that works fine! Also I read something about the spree auto choke having wires to it , but that's not the case here , I'll get the picture tomorrow so does yours have the vacuum hoses connecting the carb to the cylinder head or does yours ha...

Re: Honda melody carb adjustment
melody isn't US market. the only melody ive seen here in the US had some weird choke setup with vacuum hose going to some heater element thing on the cylinder head. US scooters have a different carb that uses an electric auto choke. also us carb was a bigger diameter throat than the jdm melody I wor...

Re: Help: Honda DJ1RR (SE50) with Dio front end
Yes when you refer to the zx stem, you need the af28 or af35 stem. The af27 & af34 stem is only for drum brake. The dio headset will bolt right on as long as you use the matching handlebars etc. this makes sense. I have an af34 stem that was too narrow for my zx disk wheel. I then bought an af3...

Re: ZX Dio alloy wheels restortion
I haven't bought them so won't comment on the quality or fitment. I posted the link out of interest. Most of the stuff is usually very good from Aliexpress but I don't buy things like cylinder kits etc. I generally look for the branded type of stuff that shops sell. I think that you are buying the ...
