Re: '98 Elite SA50 ECO Build

Been a while.. :nervous: So here's a long overdue update!! A while back, I capped out this bike's 50cc potential at what I will call Stage 1 (see below). This was good for a solid 50MPH gps'd on flat consistently, and returned 59MPG avg routinely. Decent gains from the 38mph top and 53mpg ...

Re: 2001 Elite SR Build

Solid build bro. Seen your bike lots on the FB page. Looks sick. How's she ride being super stiff? Imagine gotta weave around them potholes :P I would recommend the Malossi for quality, but at 260# sounds like you may want some more torque. Between the TWH and Jiso, I'd go Jiso and like bonesv menti...

Re: '98 Elite SA50 ECO Build

Interesting ideas. I'll be following. Guess I never realized these scoots get such terrible mileage. I bought a 2011 Yamaha C3 50cc scooter brand new and got a best of 137mpg while averaging 110+ mpg. I know its apples to oranges but a swap may eventually be in order :naughty: Ben, that is fantasti...

Arrow Pipe on 50cc - Review

Here is my unbiased take on running a top dollar genuine Arrow exhaust on a '98 SA50 Elite SR, while staying 50cc. It's well known an Arrow and 72cc Corsa combo when tuned proper, rips hard. But what about a stock bore? Certainly it can't be as good right?? Well I am pleasantly surprised to report, ...

'98 Elite SA50 ECO Build

Hey guys, Been years since I've logged a project, but no time like the present, and gonna give it another go :coolcruise: This thread is to chronicle the build process of a '98 Elite SA50 I picked up roughly a year ago, with only 900mi! Prime suspect for some mods no :naughty: Alas, all I've managed...

Re: Benji's 87 elite se50

Benji, I do believe based on this speedo style, you have the somewhat slower final drive gearing. Would recommend verify, reference attached. The faster geared bikes have this speedo: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/DAVUC3otLUE/maxresdefault.jpg Ref: http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Honda/EliteSE50/EliteSE50...

Re: Lightweight Rear Rim Option for SA50

Yup, I'm thinking of going the trashed GY6 route.. although seems like most GY6 50cc have a steel 10" and the aluminum one is less common. Oh ya this is def not a "mod" toward handing in any respect, simply chasing less weight and see the wheel as potential area to lose some. As Wheel...

Lightweight Rear Rim Option for SA50

So in an attempt to shave off rotational mass, and increase performance, considering swapping just the rear rim with something lighter. The Honda Metro 50 rims are popular and can run tubeless, which shaves some weight. But what about a full aluminum option, such as the GY6 50cc bikes? If brake shoe...

Re: opinions on best variated AF05e big bore kit
