Re: Need help with Express SR electrical
This sounds like loose rack bolts to me. Make sure they are torqued down to spec, this should solve your issue

Re: My scooter collection
The purple elite also got some new stickers! I pulled the idea off original 93' elite SR decals and changed them to match the color scheme. Also got some time to tune yesterday and hit 71 MPH (GPS) on 8.44 gears @ 11.4k. I am thinking that is about all you can pull out of these gears. I am going to ...

Re: My scooter collection
Got the blue spree rideable and near completion. Just needs some finishing touches but it runs well and is very fast. This past weekend I went down to portland to attend spring scoot, and the scooter swap shop grand opening. It was an awesome event! Nice to meet and talk to some fellow scooter addic...

Re: Lighting option
They are little 1 1/2-2 inch trail light that you can buy on Amazon and eBay. They perform Amazing and are super bright. As for wiring I just run them right to the battery as they are DC. I also wire a relay inline to the ignition so when the ignition turns on they get power, you can just as easily ...

Re: Lighting option
I have put two led lights in my stock spree headlight. Wired through a relay so when I turn the key they come on.

Re: My scooter collection
Got a chance to start putting my buddies spree together the other day. It is quite a pain to get master cylinders, and quick throttles to fit on such tiny bars. We are now waiting on the wheels to get back from powder coating to get it all together and running :coolcruise: http://i376.photobucket.co...

Re: My scooter collection
haha I am just an 18 year old kid who works at a car wash and a boat shop for minimum wage. I just choose to spend my money on scooters, chevy trucks, and school. I also don't have that much hard earned cash in this bike as I get a lot of the money to build these things by wheeling and dealing.

Re: My scooter collection
My purple S is back together  . I think I can finally call this one done, except for the tuning part and the blue filter (needs to be purple). I am hoping to see 80 mph on this thing. The motor that 1man8scoots ported for it is nasty and I think it has enough power to get to 80 with the right...

Re: 87 SE50 "Elite S" project..piece by piece
Tuning is very hard to get dailed in the northwest right now because of the weather. It gets much easier when it gets above 60 degrees

Re: My scooter collection
My three AF16's came back from their 4 month vacation to Colorado this week. 1man8scoots (Joe Daniels) was working his porting magic on them. Here is the specs on each engine. Engine #1 (Purple Elite) Cases flowed and ported to match the bore and the yasuni pipe Polini Corsa (ported for great top en...

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
I think you ran outta gas. The spree has a .66 gallon tank according to Honda. But from my experience you only have a usable amount of about .5-.55 gallons. I have ran mine out of gas countless times, so many that I installed gas gauges in both
