Yeah Aero 125's are rare birds indeed. The reason I ask about this is because I actually have a spare engine for an Aero 80. I don't have an Aero 50 yet but I'm hoping to buy one soon. I would be nice to save the $90 or so if possible. If you could make the NH80 cylinder work, you could also overbor...

NH80 cylinder on a NB50/SE50 engine?
Does anyone know how close an NH80 cylinder is to fitting on a NB50/SE50 engine? If the bolt pattern and skirt size are the same then perhaps the cylinder and engine case could be ported to match? The NH80 has a 48mm bore so it's not much bigger than the big bore kits for this engine which are about...

Hmm....swapping in a Dio engine is an interesting idea. So you say a Dio engine will bolt right in? So if I was to swap in a stock Dio engine, I would need the motor, swingarm, exhaust, carb, airbox etc? Anything else? Can you use the Aero 50 wiring or do you need to use the Dio wiring harness? I'd ...

Thanks for all the help guys. I'd prefer to get an Aero 50 over a Dio (I live in Canada) because I like the styling of the Aero 50 better and because it has a glovebox. The Dio probably is the practical choice but the styling just doesn't do it for me....it looks too much like a Jog. I really like t...

Aero 50 Modification Questions
Guys, I'm considering buying an Aero 50 for my next scooter. I'd get an '85 - '87 model (so that aftermarket parts are available for it). What I'm trying to get a sense of here is the hop up potential for this scooter. My goal is to get to 45-50 mph while largely retaining the reliability, look and ...

Thanks....I'm working on a website (www.MotorScooterGuide.net) that has info on every single Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki scooter, so I'm in the middle of a lot of research.
