you can beat most of the cheaper and smaller pocketbikes and go carts with the spree :D .

its quick for an older 50cc, modern ones are faster.

where is the oil leaking from?my guess is u overfilled it. theres no guage? or something to let u know? that is my guess too. there is no gauge for the oil, just a red dot thats supposed to come on when oil is low, like on the spree. other than that there is really now way to tell since from the to...

wow today was fun. now that i finally got my insurance, i rode my vento to work. its a nice curvy road w/ a 50mph limit, and for the most part i was able to go that fast. 8) Then there was some hills and I got it going even faster, fastest was 54mph. :o

i have never heard of that happening unless it is hooked up to a car or something with to many amps. i always keep the charger on 2 amps.compared to the 200 that it will go up to. well in my case, the charger was at a higher ampage, which would be like trying to jump it from a car that was running....

just take abatt charger and crank it over with the charger on. DO NOT DO THIS!!! sorry vette, but this is very bad advice. trying to start when the charger is still hooked up to the battery can cause serious problems, like exploding the battery! i tried doing this once and it almost ruined my elect...

i gotta say you are really going with the hard route with trying to get your spree to run. for example if you want to check for spark, you can just take the plug out and see if it arcs by touching it to the head. also im not sure about the initial condition of ur spree, but its much easier to start ...

actually dont remove or spray the filter. you just have to disconnect the little hose going from the airbox to the carb, and spray directly into the carb. that gets best results imo.

a spree is a great beginner scooter. especially if you want a project bike. it doesnt top out at speeds of today's mopeds, but its enough to get around for the most part. especially topping out at 35mph down a hill can be very fun. 8) :D Since your dont have a moped/motorcycle licence yet and want s...

jump it (just dont turn the car on when jumping).

what ur describing sometimes happens when the battery is too weak. if jumping it gets it going, then uve found ur problem, if it doesnt then its something wrong with ur alternator.

to answer an earlier question: to bypass the key ignition, u have to disconnect the key-ignition wires, then take off the case off the main relay (on bottom of seat, right side of gas tank) and press that with your finger, if your battery is good then that should get the alternator going.
