Re: 2000 Elite suspension and brakes upgrades
I may try for a 100/90-10 in that case. I want to go as wide as I can on the rear to help me keep that rear end planted in the turns. I guess those YSK's will have to do for now for the fronts... For 30 buck per set, I can burn through those every couple of months and be ok with it. Graphite9 never ...

Re: 2000 Elite suspension and brakes upgrades
Those front end disc setups look bad * but it might be over kill, I just need to slow down a corsa build... Those YSK front shocks I am weary about.. Only 30 bucks?? I wonder how long they will last. I see they measure 8 7/8 in. wich is a common size of rear shock for alot of scooters, so would any ...

Re: 2000 Elite suspension and brakes upgrades
Aww man.. Changing the rim, converting to disc, and using a modified ruck fork all sounds good but I think thats a little more pricey than I want to spend. Plus I want to stay the bolt on route (for now) so maybe Ill just get the slotted brakes and some A/M shocks and cal my suspension and brakes do...

Hello Everybody.. I'm new to the DIO world and thanks for having me here.. I had just a few questions about some suspension and brake upgrades for my Elite.. 1)Whats a good size rear shock and whats a good brand? 2)Are there also A/M shocks I can buy for the stock fork? It looks like I can unbolt th...

Re: Problems with corsa round 2
Well I feel like an idiot haha. This morning when I walked up to my scooter I saw there was a napkin stuck in where the fan opening is. Seems like a coworker or friend of mine was trying to mess with me. Luckily I have a temp gauge and knew to lay off the throttle last night or that would've been a...

Re: starts 1st kick but not with starter??????
@kauaianman faulty starter clutch is the safe bet. If it starts and runs fine with the kick start... low compression is not the issue. Compression reading will be the same wether you use the kick lever or the starter (5 revolutions is 5 revolutions no matter how u slice it). I would say his 10psi di...

Re: starts 1st kick but not with starter??????
If it starts on the first kick your compression is ok. Im almost 100% sure its the starter clutch losing its grip.

Re: New member Bay Area CA
Thanks for the kind words and the advice.
Yea, i think im going to stay the bolt on route for the dio and make my minarelli the tempermental custom setup.. Im thinkn about a corsa for the dio with 8.1 gears as the basis for my build.
