Yeah but its probably cheaper to buy a new tank. If you put a metal nipple back in it braze it with a torch.

Re: LC CHT TEMP/water temp
The cht is taking heat off the head, the water gauge is taking off the water. Water is a thermo insulator, which means the cht will always read higher than water if your radiator and jump are adequate for your setup. Sounds like either you sprung an airleak or one of your gaues is messing up if it j...

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
If temps climb after you close the throttle fast then upjet the low jet if the temps keep climbing at wot then you need fatter main and if it still does you have a airleak.
You cant jet for a airleak so if you find one fix it not asap fix it then and there.

Re: Scooter Identification
Ide make sure it isnt stolen first take the vin to the dmv and tell them you want to buy it and thats the vin and if comes back stolen then you can give the bike up or lie which is illegal and strip it and trash the frame and make profit off the parts. But thats illegal and immoral.

Re: Help with Electrical Components
Great idea jumps. Ive had to chase a gas gauge gremlin before when my gauge quit working. By connecting a multimeter to two of the leads on the sending unit, I was able to see the ohms increase/decrease while raising/lowering the float by hand. This revealed that the variable resistor was working p...
