Re: Spree carb running dry with new BBK
Benji is right. Get that petcock out of the tank and clean the screen. Those screens can get all vanished up and not flow enough fuel. You can check th flow by running th carb fuel line into a container and applying vaccum to the petcock and see how the flow is. Might be worth draining th tank and s...

I think G9 has the spacers you seek, or at least he used to.

Buy some ebc brakes, I find the prices are great and they are great quality. I use them on all of my scooters.

Re: 1984 spree not running, was told bad bearings
I think you can repair it. There is not that much to these little sprees. And we have enough resources here to get you back on the road. Your spree is worth way more than $40 especially if you can get back to riding it. Follow wise wheelman and his awesome instructions and I feel you will get somewh...

Re: Spree bogs down on acceleration, dies or stumbles.
that sounds like the classic spree air leak. like a missing air box. Double check the air hose from the air box to carb and make sure there is a gasket in the air box lid. the pilot jets dont usually get clogged, its the orifice in the float bowl that feeds it that gets clogged so very often. shine ...

Re: Nq50 questions
My spree bbk reved up to almost 12k no problem and I could get to 43mph maybe a little more with it using just the wider belt for the gear ratio change. I had the whole setup, the CT intake, 21mm carb and the very first MLM pipe for spree. The MLM pipe is the only pipe for spree btw. There was a sto...

Re: 1984 Honda spree nq50
I had the 21mm carb on my spree bbk, it was awesome. The compression should be at least 120psi or in the ball park. Did you oil the piston, rings and cylinder on assembly? And what carb, intake and jets are installed?

Re: Anyone tried this exhaust gasket on Spree / Elite?
I have those for my elite 125. I don't think it would fit the spree. If I get to the shop in th next few day and I can find my spare ill pop it on a spree pipe that's hanging on the shelf and see how it goes.

Re: 1984 Honda spree nq50
You will have to tune the carb to work with your setup. Its only kind of bolt on and go. What jets do you have in the carb and what carb is it. The oko style carb for a 21mm on spree bbk you will prob need 32 or 35 pilot and a 92 or 95 main jet for a good starting point. And you will need to adjust ...

Re: NQ50 Big Bore Kit Instructions?
That is a standard CT intake but you need a special adapter to make it work on the spree block. Those adapters were included in a kit from Taz on eBay with a a 21mm carb, intake adpapter, intake and throttle cable.

Re: Nq50 questions
Don't buy one of the knock off spree carbs. As far as I know, no one has been able to make one work. The main issue to spree carbs are the pilot jet orifice in th go at bowl and possibly bad bystarter. Occasionally you might have to pop the emulsion tube out and clear it but they don't tend to get g...

What cdi did you buy? Its not one of those blue ones from eBay is it? If it is put the stock one back on. Those cheap cdi boxes are horrible they do nothing good from my experience. The only cdi that would be better than stock is somthing like a malossi.

Re: Spree has spark, compression, and gas. Still won't start
My theory is the previous owner probably used a crap ton of starting fluid trying to start the poor thing and it washed the bore dry of oil. It diddt seize it but it was so dry it had very little compression.
