If you go to your local cycle shop, they should be able to pull one off a battery exchanged for recycling.

Or if you want, PM me, and if you will send a self addressed stamped envelope, I'll send you a nut that should work from a dead battery I have around. The nut is in great shape.

I believe this is how it works in WA, but probably same in Iowa The certificate of origin is what the manufacture provides with a new untitled motor vehicle. Having this and a dealer signed bill of sale is enough to title the bike for the first time. Once titled, the title contains the classificatio...

That's a Gyro X, not officially imported to the US, which is why we don't see them much here. But outside the US, they have been the longest running model of the Gyros. In 2002, overall sales of the Gyro X was around 135,000. Built basically from 1982 through 2008, a good utilitarian hauler, but muc...

That's a GyroX, not officially imported to the US. Super rare here, but produced more years and higher quantity than US models NN50 (1984) and TG50 (1985/86).

Bear. Yeah I do see your points, but look at this - I've never been an outboard guy before, but ever since seeing that photo of your racing engine undressed I've been saying *D***" that outboard stuff is cool! Show me a Mercury cover, and I'd say yeah, sure I've seen *that* before! Give the pub...

I like the cutaway design. When people think old Honda scooter, its either the Cub or Spree that comes to mind. The cutway is enough to show its not a Cub. The shirt will get them thinking about whats inside. If you thinking are doing more Honda scooters - Gyro, and Urban Express are shirts I'd also...

There is an automatic valve in your fuel tank, and the carb float valve should hold off fuel flow if in good shape. Since you said you think the tank will leak out the carb when sitting, I'd say both the vacuum petcock are leaking a little. Clean/replace the tank valve (noiseguy has a tech doc at ht...
