Greetings: If the cases are oil-free, and Ms. Sum_Azn isn't on the premises, heating to 300 or so AND freezing the crank makes things so much easier. I've done the same thing to install the case bearings, and had one literally drop into place without a single blow. The frost on the bearing acts as ...

Crankcase re-assembly

I've always used a crank puller to assemble dirt bike and scooter cases (as the Honda service manual shows). But I noticed a lot of Europeans on YouTube and forums use the heatig method(heat up crank case to expand the metal). Which method better? And your thoughts?

Lil update. My 2nd af18e came in. And its a big spline crank from an af27/28. First one was a small spine from an af18. Total motors is 5 now , including the one on my bike :crazy: 1-Sym dd50 2-af16e 2-af18e should keep me busy for a while...

Oh that one in the back ground is my friends. But I did have couple Tacoma before good Lil trucks. I swapped in a 2.7 3rz from a 4runner into it and front bumper as well . I sold it after I bought my 92 civic hatch
