My friend has a 1990 elite sa50/af05 that we installed one of taz's 44mm bbk on and were having issues.The engine starts up great and gets going to 20 really nice then it dogs all the way to 35. The kit comes with a 100jet and we jetted down to a 90 and found that it was better but not good enough. ...

When I brought it to Chicago they required a title, so I had to pay roughly $130 to get this Elite titled (they simply created one for me based on the Michigan registration I had) so I could then get it registered and plated :imo: Illinois will title anything. i'd say its a sundiro/honda knock off. JMO! I was told sundiro is all honda left over.

I just bought a stage 2 bbk and gears from taz for my 01 elite and I was able to get 49mph on the gps with everything else stock. I was very impressed with the set-up for the price!

AMSOIL Intercepter all the way!!!! I run it in my snowmobile and scooter and the oil is awesome!

Dude ride the * out of that thing. It ain't going to blow up and you know I carry a tow rope.

Anyone have one of those headlight laying around? I burnt out my low beam on my sealed unit and would love to have the newer style. Let me know if anyone has one for sale.

Sorry about not telling about the oil smoke just assumed.This is not a daily driver. I might ride it every weekend. I did put the split throttle/oil cable on and this was the restricted model elite"s". Could that have affected the oil pump in anyway?

I did forget to metion that there is a decent amount of smoke and start up but I figured that was caused by it load'n up. I don't pre-mix after I did break in on the new cyclinder but I am running the stock oil pump. I don't think my oil pump is bad because of my plug being a perfect color. The scoo...
