Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Def throw some kinda pod filter on there! That jetting seems rather high. But it does change a bit after full break in. An air leak is also a possibility. I had issues with my arrow leaking around the slip on fitting area. It worked itself out with time and heat.

Re: 1994 Elite S SA50P Cold Start Problem
Hard starts usually means not enoug fuel. I would try to source the 82-85 jet as meat suggested. U can also try turning the air screw all the way in, then half turn out that'll richen up the air fuel mixture and help it start better.

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Sounds about right with the jetting, maybe even as low as 36 on the pilot, these polinis just sip the fuel. And might have to play with the needle. Up or down 1 notch from center. And 32:1 for break in and after is fine. I did that on 3 corsas and have 1000's of mi on each. Keeping the shrouds of du...

Reminded me of jason bourne in a getaway scene! Mad skills. Pretty sure it was a woman, kept hearing the same voice yelling. And 3/4 way through the bike stacked with all the hay was hilarious!

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Gotta love those parts from g9! I built x2 elites with corsa and polini carbs. After the build 4-5 kicks and they idled out of the box! Beauty! Ur gonna love the power of the corsa and sound of that arrow! Careful though, 12'o clock will come quick on a spree. It did on both my elites, cant get enou...

Re: Power cutting/bogging out
I had a wierd issue like that. Checked every thing and it ended up being stupid and simple. Changed the vacuum line. No visible holes but things changed as i was riding and the hose is flexing with bumps.

G9 right. It's an elite S. You can see the unmistakable yellow S on the first pic. Its 94-01 with af-16. U can tell by the half kicker case also.

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Ive seriously contemplated opening the valve while riding and getting a spark to it so i can leave a trail of fire behind me as i scream by. Like something straight outta Tron. G9 didnt think that was to good of an idea. Lol.

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Unsure about expanding the tank, but Its very easy to utilize the oil reservoir as a pre mix storage. Ive done it on both my honda elites. It stores 1 liter. Approx 1/4 tank. Simply connect ball valve to end of oil tank hose( oil pump side). After cleaning out oil rez of course. These parts can be f...

Re: AF16 Powered "Victoria's Spreecret"
Glad u got it fixed. In ur last pic there was that washer visible on the left side gear. My gear also had a nylon washer behind that. Still unsure which one to remove as i took a different more jurrastic route to fix mine. So steel, or nylon washer removal? Like ur other gasket post, that year might...
