Re: Drive Belt Spec 23100-GN2-003?
Where did you look for the belt? Partzilla has it for under 20 bucks. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-23100-GET-003.html I'm in the UK, there is some NOS here but I'd like to see about getting a new belt so would like to know what the actual size of the official part is. From looking...

Drive Belt Spec 23100-GN2-003?
Does anyone know the correct size belt equivalent for part 23100-GN2-003 ? I took the drive cover off today to check the belt was OK. It looks fine and is a genuine Honda part, maybe even the original. I thought I'd look around and see what's on offer for replacements just in case. I can find a coup...

Re: Which battery would you buy for a Spree?
I got a partial refund from Chrome. Seems that they ask the buyer to pay return postage for warranty claims, I sent some pictures of the display problem and a couple of days later got a reasonable refund. So far as I'm concerned it's still under warranty for the rest of the functionality and they di...

Re: Decal Removal
Thanks for the tips, the heat gun worked fine. I used a paint stripper heat gun on the low setting and just warmed things up so they were fairly warm to the touch. The decals peeled off without too much trouble. I also tried WD40 but it did not seem to have any effect.

Re: Decal Removal
Thanks, yeah the heatgun idea sounds like it might help soften things up, I'll give it a try. You're right that it will all need sanding & priming after, I'm just a bit worried about making too many deep gouges. The mudguard was almost a basket case due to some shunting in an earlier life but lo...

Decal Removal
Hi, I need to remove some of the original Honda decals from my front mudguard (fender?) as part of a clean & paint job. Does anyone know what solvent will losen them? I've tried brake cleaner & acetone without success. The decals will come off with a sharp scraper but that will damage the pa...

Hello from England - New NB50M Owner
Hi everyone, I have just bought my first scoot. It's called a Honda Vision (NB50M) in the UK it's a 1986 version and is in need of some care due to earlier neglect. I bought the scoot for taking on camping trips as it's small enough to fit inside my Citroen Berlingo and according to the specs it's a...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
Hello from England. I have just bought a 1986 Honda Vision (NB50M) and read this thread with some interest. Mine is in a fairly sorry state, it's been through a few scrapes and not really looked after. I'll post a new thread but wanted to say hello here as I have some common interests to GSX1400 in ...
