I would say 82cc bbk,8:44 gears,100jet and a uni. The scooter in my avaitar has all that for $175 and runs 55mph all day. I bought a complete bbk,gears and a jet from tazland here on the forum and i've done 3 of the same kits for my friends.Worth every penny for a budget build!

Has anyone ever changed a connecting rod on a stock 94-01 elite crank? I broke one and am debating on whether to change it or replace the whole crank. Could use some input on this one before I start ordering parts!

I run 9.1 on my 66cc bbk and I can get to 52mph max. I think the motor has more but I can run wide open for miles! I am going to switch to 8.44 with my new zx trans though!

I would find a set of speed rated tires before you kill yourself! I've only found 62mph tires out there....just sayin!

I constantly have to charge my battery when using my hid's I also use a bigger amp/hour battery than stock. What Tjamz said!!! I get about 6-8 hrs of run time before I have to recharge. and I run a 5amp battery. The HID is awesome but it kills my battery. I run a 2001 headlight and use a hi/lo H4 b...

What did you run in your variator with the 8.44 and how was the take off?

The Clutch springs from 88-93 were junk. put a set from a 94-01 and you'll be fine. My friend just had the same issue!

So I bought it. I got it home and this is the best way I can describe it. Stone cold, I press the starter and it immediately starts, it runs for maybe 8-10 seconds and may sputter and come back or sputter and die. I start it again and does the same thing. This goes on for maybe 3 times. Then I jump...
