Yes it is plug n play. One cable to carb other cable to oil pump.

I ran without the reed stop with Boyesen reeds on stock reed block and really cannot say i felt any difference in performance.

New bearings will add a little more resistance since the bearings are not worn out and are probably packed with grease but it shouldn't be "rough"mmeadows wrote:if anything felt different after i put it in , does it mean that i broke it?

Might be the oil pump leaking and now that you got it started it will need to burn out the oil.
