Re: gear lube

I know oil expands and doesn't compress but it has an open vent tube, so it should just puke if truly overfilled?

Re: Bosch Spark Plug

The only thing I find platinum plugs good for is old 4 strokes that use lots of oil and foul out easy. Have a pile of used ones that I run in the log splitter with a homemade spacer.

Re: GOT A FREE SPREE !!! NEED A KEY !!!

I had to go to a real locksmith shop to get a blank and have it cut. The kind that has been there as long as the town and the guy can reproduce laser cut keys by hand.

Re: Metro connecting rod damage

Does it use a pressure lubed system or is it all splash lubed? I can see a clog in the crank doing that.

Re: Bigger jet needed in modified Spree??

Its better to run rich than run lean, sparkplugs are FAR cheaper than a new bore kit.

Re: Honda Aero Spark Problems

Try new plug wire and cap. You sure you have an Aero? They were only available in 50/80/125 two strokes that I am aware of. What year is it?

Good place to order suzuski parts online?

I need some stuff for a 1980 GS250 I'm working on(blown headgasket oil passage, mouse infested air box), dealer is too far away to bother driving out there. I have heard horrible things about Babbits and mrcycles seems kinda pricey.

Re: spree battery

Sears die hard is a quality battery, I had one for 3 years and never did any maintenance that I should have on it before it died. Back in 2002 they were $25 with acid

Re: Another Belt Install Question

I know on sprees if you put it together wrong it will eat the crank up. Don't remember how/why.

Keep in mind that a spree is only ~100 pounds soaking wet.
