Can anyone please give some input on upgrading clutch springs and Torque spring. Specifically I'm curious if I should go for the 1K or the 1.5K. How strongly do these affect your average stop light/ parking lot launch? What rating do you like? I'm not looking for a screamin RPM wheelie at every ligh...

I just read about a fellow about to embark on SanFran to Alaska Arctic Circle on a Metropolitan. There's a whole thread about his preperation and plans at Adventure rider or somethin' like that. Grizzlies can run over 30mph! I hope he knows that.

Those are pretty reasonable prices. Does anyone know if this would be a good place for me to start with my stock 85 Aero 50? I think I could swing for that much stuff to "ease into" some modifications.

I'm always mashing the aero off road. The spring for the center stand is too weak though, whenever I jump or bump, the center stand bounces then slams up. Either way, a good short cut is always just off the road.

I absolutely love mine. I used to cruise my buddy's Spree and the 85 Aero blows it away. Got it on CL for $300 last summer when gas was spendy and it paid itself off in a month. 65mpg-38mph. I find it's kinda like driving a VW bus in that people are happy to see you, waiving and smiling. Get it.
